Hello,

Is anyone using a Modified Early Warning Scoring System to target your sepsis
patients? If so, do you have any policies you would like to share?

Due to our patient populations, we added an oxygen saturation and modality
component to our scoring system. The issue we are having is that our
Multiskilled Technicians do the majority of the vital signs, but cannot perform
pulse oximetry. What is the practice at other facilities that implemented a
MEWS System?

Thanks,
