Dear all, May I know if someone is working as a lead nurse for sepsis. If so, I would be grateful if you can let me have the job plan/job description.
We do have 24/7 outreach nurses in our hospital. They are senior nurses from intensive care delivering complex care in the the hospital wards. They are often busy with many things apart from sepsis care. This leads to delay in implementing sepsis six. To facilitate care given to sepsis patients, my hospital is looking at employing a lead nurse for sepsis. I thought the role would be to facilitate the care given to patients with sepsis in the wards/casualty, education and audit. Is there anything else that could be included? Many thanks in advance, BW Mohan Mohan Ranganathan Consultant Anaesthetist Lead for sepsis George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust Nuneaton UK
