For our staff education, we are utilizing a web-based, virtual reality
education program. Staff can log in from anywhere, and they can practice caring
for patients in a computer-based simulated environment (based on real life
patients).

Here is a video demo: http://novicetoexpert.org/about/novex-case-examples/

Staff tend to really enjoy it, they do the education at their convenience, and
it's more interactive than Powerpoint and lectures.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions,

Alex

Subject: [Sepsis Groups] Care Model for Sepsis Survivors

Good Evening!
I’m interested in what you are using in your hospital systems to educate
nursing staff (beyond sepsis recognition/guidelines/bundles) towards guiding
patients that are surviving sepsis.

Before discharge any specific education plans to those most at risk for sepsis?

At discharge what type of follow up care are you incorporating for sepsis
survivors after they leave the hospital?

Appreciate your feedback!
