The Surviving Sepsis Campaign has announced that the first update to the June 
2020 adult COVID-19 guidelines is now 
available<https://www.sccm.org/SurvivingSepsisCampaign/Guidelines/COVID-19>. 
There are 9 recommendations to review. For pediatric providers, the Campaign 
issued a 
perspective<https://journals.lww.com/pccmjournal/pages/articleviewer.aspx?year=2020&issue=11000&article=00045&type=Fulltext>
 on sepsis in children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Full

 for the care of septic children are available on the Surviving Sepsis Campaign 
website as well.

The adult sepsis and septic shock guidelines are now in final review and will 
be submitted to the journals shortly for peer review. More information on a 
release date will be forthcoming in the early summer of 2021.
