Link is dead (for me). Also, isn't .msg just a single email file, like how Outlook forwards a message, so this would be for email processing. A normal outlook mailbox repository is a .pst file.

Wasn't there some old Java lib that did something similar? I thought it was blocked possibly by microsoft's licensing rules, or maybe it was just inactivity.
