Oh I fogot to mention this...
Unfortunately certain combinations of Phoenix, James, Suns JVM and Linux
won't support -server and James dies within a few minutes.
Having looked at this I can't see how James could be causing it, and Avalon
peeps say its not Phoenix, so I guess we blame Sun or Linux and wait till
someone else fixes something.
