I knew it was too good to be true when I stopped receiving spam. Turns out,
my ISP mailbox had been backing up because FetchMail had not been fetching
mail. In the FetchMail log, I see this sort of pattern repeated over and
over again:
03/11/03 00:01:12 INFO fetchmail.one.net: Attempting delivery of message
with id. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
03/11/03 00:01:12 INFO fetchmail.one.net: Ignoring recipient header. Using
configured recipient as new envelope recipient - [EMAIL PROTECTED]
03/11/03 00:01:16 ERROR fetchmail.one.net: one.net Message could not be
processed due to an error parsing the addresses. Subject: Latest Patch From:
Microsoft Security Support <> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
... and this ...
03/11/03 00:26:37 ERROR fetchmail.one.net: Exception processing message ID:
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - javax.mail.MessagingException: error fetching POP3
content;
nested exception is:
java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
03/11/03 00:26:37 INFO fetchmail.one.net: Attempting delivery of message
with id. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
03/11/03 00:26:37 INFO fetchmail.one.net: Ignoring recipient header. Using
configured recipient as new envelope recipient - [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Any ideas?
Regards,
Brian.
