In fact it did try the other yahoo gateways, I just didn't include that in my pasted content. The other thing is that this is a sample error stack trace. I am getting the same error message when trying to send email to email servers other than yahoo, and I have tried sending multiple times to yahoo and the others at different times with the same result, so I don't think it's the case that the host is busy. So from your input, the only thing I can think of is that my ip is banned by yahoo and all the other email servers, which I'm not sure why that would be the case, but I'll investigate it further.
Is there any other possible reason why I may be getting this error? Is it possible that I have something configured wrong, or that I haven't configured something. Amarish --- "Noel J.
