And from which MTA did you get that response?  And why were you asking it to
relay to [EMAIL PROTECTED]  Unless you have a valid account with
an MTA, almost no MTA still in existence will relay to other domains; those
that would are most likely going to be blocked, themselves.

Try sending from another account.  It doesn't sound as if they are
configured to relay for you.

Go read the description by Blars of the BLARS zone.

However, looking at the  description of your problem, neither the Apache
mail server nor BLARS have anything to do with it.
