Hi,

Has anyone ever written any code to extract TNEF attachments in James? These are the 'winmail.dat' files that come through as incomprehensible to any but Microsoft's email clients. When forwarding an attachment from Outlook, any attachments are wrapped in the MS-TNEF format, and Thunderbird, Kmail etc. cannot read them.

My thought was to create a mailet to extract the wrapped attachments in James and reattach them to the mail. I have tried using the JTNEF package from http://www.freeutils.net/source/jtnef/ with little success so far, and before I went any further I thought to ask the list for prior experience?

Thanks,
Craig
