The base for the Mailet API for the next release (not the POJO release) has
been committed.

option would be to see if JavaMail can be leveraged. That is unclear, since
JavaMail is designed for clients, not servers.

No. But as Serge said, we should consider what API changes need to be added
to Mail. I just made one when merging code.
