Hello, My name is Brian Haas and I'd like to introduce myself as a developer using James in a commercial application. I have written an app called Summit Groupware which uses James to handle external mail. Summit is a full featured groupware package featuring a Swing based desktop application similar in function to Outlook or Lotus Notes, and it also provides a web mail interface for web browsers and PDA devices.
I've been hesitant to post to this list because I don't want to offend anyone with commercial offers or interest, but we've made some changes to how we're going to license Summit which I think may appeal to some people on this list. The software, while closed source, is now free as in beer. Looking back over the mailing list archives, I think that anyone wanting web mail and/or slightly simpler support for multiple domains might be interested in having a look. We currently incorporate some third party libraries into the application which prevents from completely open sourcing the program at this time. You can find more information about Summit Groupware, including screenshots, at: http://www.powdersoftware.com.
