i use 'localhost' with following settings:
<servernames autodetect="true" autodetectIP="true">
<servername>localhost.de</servername>
</servernames>
I added a postbox for "user" to james with the admin console.
In Thunderbird i add a account for [EMAIL PROTECTED]
