Thanks for the reply. I have already use the sudo command:
sudo ./run.sh event though JAVA_HOME already setup in .bashrc, i got this result: iwan@iwan-lucid:~/dev/james-2.3.2/bin$ sudo ./run.sh ERROR: JAVA_HOME not found in your environment.
