Thanks for the info. I went to the trunk link you gave me and I can see
each file. But I would really like to get the entire source on my local
drive so i can use my familiar search/grep tools to browse and find
things in the code. I really don't care if it's the latest b5 or even
if it's b4 at this point. I'm just looking for a rough look at the
code. But I'm not really keen on downloading thousands of files one by
one from the trunk web site.
On the download page
(http://james.apache.org/download.cgi#Apache_James_Server), the
2.3.2-src.zip is 10MB and contains java code and everything. The
3.0-beta4-source-release.zip is 176KB and contains NO java files. Not
sure how that file can qualify as a source zip. Isn't there some way I
can get a downloadable zip of the source that contains the java files?

The code there is v3b5, but, as I stated in my previous mail, you
should be using that one to avoid IMAP related issues.
