That's an interesting conclusion to draw Jerry.  I don't understand where the
logic is in suggesting that any software deployed before there was something
called "web services" was not an SOA.  Further, you suggest that "SOA" is
somehow aligned as a "SW architecture".  That seems to contradict the basic
notion that services go beyond the software level.
