Hi, An interesing post about a SOC Roadmap: “Service-oriented computing (SOC) is a new computing paradigm which utilizes services as the basic constructrs to support the development of rapid-cost, low-cost and easy composition of distributed applications. The subject is very vast, complex and spans many concepts and technologies woven together. In order to unify efforts in research all over Europe about SOC, important people from the community has written this Service-Oriented Research Roadmap (PDF). The paper analyzes new grand challenges, the current state of the art shortcomings and provides a holistic approach to the domain. Good reading for newbies, food for thought for practitioners and researchers.
