As long as you don't expect that from me. 8-)

But of course neither approach solves all problems.  I've never
claimed otherwise.  I do, however, claim that they address largely
overlapping problem spaces.

Where are you looking? 8-) Because everywhere I look, I see HTTP,
mostly used RESTfully too.

IMO, because that's the only place where people are willing to put up
with such a tightly coupled architecture.  On the Internet it's a
non-starter.

Oh well, at least Atom and RSS are picking up from where SOAP dropped the ball.
