Subject: [service-orientated-architecture] Re: Is Governance Killing SOA?

Interface is just part of a contract. There's also non-functional
requirements in a contract.
IMO, thinking a Java interface is a contract is insufficient because a
Java interface may not represent a service. This does not mean a Java
interface can not represent a service - it just means that Java classes
and interfaces have to be properly modeled so they represent a service
instead of just an Java method operation.
