My statement was too brief, causing confusion. It is simply a service-
oriented interaction and indicates nothing more about the 
encompassing architecture.

I'm making a distinction between localized use and architectural 
style, but didn't say so. A specific interaction (or several) may be 
service oriented, but that doesn't mean the architecture is SO.
