Now beyond of course "Enterprise SOA Adoption Strategies" (free PDF download
from InfoQ.com) what I'd recommend would be the following

Firstly though I'd recommend having a read of the OASIS SOA Reference Model,
its a bit technical but I've been told by others that it helped explain the
principles pretty well.  There are loads and loads of bits out there that
don't explain as clearly the concept of "Service" and "Capability" indeed
many "SOA" texts manage to confuse the two which is just plain wrong.

When I coach around SOA the key thing I focus on is getting people to model
problems in terms of services and capabilities.  After then everything is
much simpler.
