This is the first I've heard of it. Unfortunately, there seems to
be a similar clause in that license agreement.

So does anyone know of an XML parser in Java that is (or might be
soon) suitable for commercial use? It doesn't have to be free,
we're willing to pay for it, it just has to be something we can
count on.
