I could be wrong, but the problem maybe that were you are using this

<td width="25%">, whereas you have been using this <td width=\"25%\">,
notice the two slashes.
I personally didn't use the " as when I compiled it didn't like them,
so I left them out and it worked.

Hope this helps although I may have missed the point.

Subject:        Re: out.println problem

Dave,
Thanks for replying. I hope you can help me.
I am using WebSphere and IIS.
The code is:
out.println("<tr>");
out.println("<td
width=\"25%\"><small><small><strong>Action Request
Code:</strong></small></small></td>");
out.println("<td width=\"25%\"><small><small>" +
rsactn.getString(3) + "</small></small></td>");
out.println("<td
width=\"25%\"><small><small><strong>Credit Amt
Requested:</strong></small></small></td>");
out.println("<td width=\"25%\"><small><small>" +
c1cram + "</small></small></td>");
out.println("</tr>");
out.println("<tr>");

The code from the browser is:
It is stopping at </strong> and that is it..
<tr>
<td width="25%"><small><small><strong>Action Request
Code:</strong></small></small></td>
<td width="25%"><small><small>SALESPERSON-TO-ADVISE
 </small></small></td>
<td width="25%"><small><small><strong>Credit Amt
Requested:</strong>
---
If I comment out this code, it is having the same
problem with the next segment of the code. Doesn't
look like a problem with the code but more with the
length of the output.
Any ideas?
