Hi from a list newbie. I'm using JWS 1.1.3 on NT4SP3. Is it possible to set a cookie from within a servlet which was invoked as a server-side include? Currently I can't get this technique to work. The Hunter/Crawford book on servlets states "because cookies are sent using HTTP headers, they should be added to the response before you send any content" Given that, I was hoping that my foo.shtml of <servlet code=blah> </servlet> other html would work, but alas it's not. Any help gratefully appreciated. -- Stuart Maclean, Research Associate University of Washington ITS Research Program, College of Engineering Box 352500 Seattle, WA 98195-2500 Tel: (206) 543-0637 ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
