Hi everybody!

I want to get text from an HTML from and save this text in a database on the
server site for leter refference. I use MsAccessand W98.

1st alternative: write the text directly into the database, and read from
there when queried. This alternative has a drawback because of the character
capacity limiation of the db field. Does anybody know the upper limit of
text fields in MsAccess, I know as 256bytes.

2nd is, save this text as a text file with name 'text#1' on the server
machine and locate this name to the corresponding tabke row. So when
someone queries that row's that field, the file name is gathered and that
file's content is sent to the client.

Which alternative do you advice? Has anybody tried a similar thing?
If so, I'll be glad to hear from you.

Sincerely,

Oguz
