I learned that JServ add-on is needed to run servlets. My
platform is WinNT4.0 (SP4). So first I installed Apache
WebServer and tested the installation and it worked fine
ie "Start Apache as console app" and a DOS window popped up
showing "Apache Web Server running...". No problem so far!
I stop that WebServer then. Thereafter I installed Apache
JServ and learned that whenever I run Apache WebServer
JServ will run automatically. But when I tried to run
Apache Web Server, I could not able to get that DOS window
saying "Apache Web Server running..." though it came for
a flash and disappeared and the WebServer never able to run.
Can anyone help me in pointing out what is going wrong here.
