Hello,
First thing do the following STEP BY STEP
1- download Apache Web server (last release is 1.3.6)
2- download "ApacheJServ1.0b2-Apche1.3.4.exe" (YES the release number is
not the last one)
this instaler installs a "old" Apache Jserv but it sets up automatically
your http.conf..
3- download the file named Apache-JServ-1.0b4.tar.gz BY FTP FROM
java.apache.org (for a reason I don't know anything about, downloads form
java.apache.org with a Web browser fails in general and you end with a
rotten .jar file)
4- delete the ApacheJserv.jar installed with the "old" instaler and replace
it with the new version.
5- download BY FTP FROM java.apache.org the file
"ApacheModuleJServ1b3_136.dll" (it's in the "dll" directory)
6- Rename it "ApacheModuleJServ.dll" and place it in the "module" directory
form the Apache (the web server not Jserv) install directory.
7- That's it for the sofware stuff, now read once , twice and more Arri's text
(URL http://www.magiccookie.com/computers/apache-jserv/) to configure your
"zones"
