Please help me
I tried to install Apache JServ 1.0b5 on my Linux, using the second option
(that is using DSO).
I don't have the tar.gz of Apache, only the rpm
The problem is : I have to specify the Apache installation directory when
running the Jserv configure script (the --with-apache-install switch)
I do not know where my Linux installed my Apache...
I located for httpd or Apache
And found
/etc/httpd/
/home/httpd/
/usr/sbin/httpd
...
Then I run the configure script using each of directory I found using
locate.
But the configure script throwed an error message (after checking that
apache installation directory --> bla-bla-bla do not support DSO
bla-bla-bla)
I typed in prompt : httpd -l
And found mod_so -- were listed....
I tried to compile it using the other option : static installation :
but I do not know the apache source directory (although i've already
installed the apache-devel)
please help me
and thanks for your time
