Most likely, you are behind a firewall or proxy server of some sort. Check with
your network administrator and ask how access to the particular server you are
contacting would be handled.
The remote IP address is pretty much useless on the public Internet, because
most dial-up users get a different IP address every time they dial in, and many
companies hide their internal networks behind the single IP address of a
firewall -- either for security, or because they are using the IP address ranges
reserved for intranets and are thus not accessible anyway. Since neither of the
IP addresses you listed above seem to be accessible, it's probably an internal
Sun network configuration issue.
