The startserver in JSWK 1.0 gives me the "Out of Environment Space"
error repeatedly.

There is an explanation how to fix this in one of readmes.
Open a DOS window and change some property there.

The server in the JSDK2.1 gives me the line
"JSDK2.1 Server ... Early Release Version..."

It did not hang up. It just waits for requests so start your browser.

Now I'm running JDK1.3 on my 95 machine and JDK1.2 on my NT machine
and both of them are getting this message.

It looks to me that you are driving crazy your system with
zillion versions of Java. God knows which version is actualy
involed ;-). Make up your mind. I had such a problem with
some 5 versions. Search your machine for jre.exe,
java.exe... and rename unwanted ones.
