Can one session know about other sessions currently goin on ?

Can I (for example) tell user X when they log in that user Y is logged in as
well at this  moment ?

Or alternatively, can an "administrator"  be served a list of all the people
who are logged in at this moment by virtue of a servlet that reads all the
other sessions ?
