Hi Moloy,
You should start to see what tasks your application has to do. To get there you can
start asking the user what he/she needs. It is important to keep it simple. You also
have to decide if you will have the following:
* Client/Server architecture
* Three tier
* Thin client (just using a webbrowser)
* Will you run all on the same server (db and appliction)
How do you decide this?
Well it depends ont the requirements of the application.
What is most important?
* Speed or,
* Function
Then you can start setting up which classes you need.
I hope this gives you a start.
Mikael

Hi
This is Moloy Biswas from India, I am a programmer, I have done software
development in D2K with ORACLE in the back. But now I have been given a
project which I have to do in JAVA and Oracle in the back.
I almost covered all the topics given in Java tutorials till Creating
User Interface. Now the problem is that I am not very sure where from I
should start my project because it is almost different from the client
server architecture. I am totally confused and I do not know what to do
next.
My project includes fixed deposit and public bonds and the financial
part of it. It is not a very complex one but I am not very sure how to
go about it. I am doing the project alone.
So somebody please guide me. I will be forever grateful to you.
Moloy Biswas
