Please excuse me if I introduce some noise... I made a chat servlet/applet. It works when I try it in my own machine using servletrunner and appletrunner. But when I upload the servlet to www.mycgiserver.com and run my applet with appletviewer, I get the following exception: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission www.mycgiserver.com resolve) Could anyone help me, or tell me where could I get help from? By the way, I pretend to make my Chat OPEN SOURCE, so if anyone wants to get it, please tell me. When its finished I will put it in my home-page.
