cursory glance at the documentation. Don't even stop because
this exact question has been asked many times before and is
thus is in the archive. Don't stop because we've had our quota
today with the "managing a string" question. Don't stop because
we can only hope the question was flamebait because the alternative
is too terrible to contemplate.

 No, stop because every beginning java programmer on the list has
_already_ siezed the chance to answer the _one_ _question_ that
they know the answer to, and all of those answers will begin to
appear just after you hit "send".
