Yes, I agree with you that this is a VERY basic question.
Personally, If I were in sender's shoes, I would not send that mail out.

On the other hand, the sender's seems not to deserve so many "stop" or "don't
stop"
appearing in your mail.  Remember, you are not the Java guy when you were born
on this globe.  Each expert is from beginner.
At the same you forget people's fault, you have forgiven yourself.

Don't be too aggressive!  you can defeat many guys in many situations.  But you
can definitely be defeated by others in ONE situation.
In the latter case, ONE is enough!  Before being a programmer, please learn to
be a regular guy!
