Subject: Oracle error

Hi all,

I have written a servlet which connects to
database for loading some data.

But when ever I try to run this servlet following
error is displayed:

ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory.

I have checked my tnsnames.ora. Everything is fine
there.

Moreover I am succesfully running sqlplus from my
machine which don't show
any error.

Can anyone tell me what this error is?

Thanks

Arvind Bir
