You could always have the user launch the report with a target="_blank" in
the link. Then the report opens in its own window and loads while they can
click back to the first window and continue working. It also means that the
report doesn't interfere with where they are in your site.

Hi Gerardo

I'd prefer a non javascript approach for two reaons. Firstly, it won't work
if the user has javascript turned off and secondly, I know diddly squat
about javascript. Could you point me towards some example code that would do
as you describe.
