Hi, This behaviour is browser dependant: from my experience opening a new InternetExplorer window treats session as discussed (file->new->window == same session, starting from start bar == new session).
However, be aware that ALL open Netscape windows on your screen are likely to have the same session id when making requests to your servlet.
