One of the machines I have SETI@home running on is a P1-133Mhz machine and
I'm now doing one work unit every 20 hours or so. Setispy is what is making
the difference. I was averaging one every 50+ hours, but as soon as I turned
of the graphic and started using SetiSpy this thing is going like crazy. I
can't wait to install it on the faster machines at work!
I have a Cel-500Mhz Linux box at work that turns out a work unit every ten
hours, but the windows machines take about 20 hours. They're the same speed -
500Mhz. The program SetiSpy is really making a difference.
