There are so many posts on this subject, I sorta hate to add another one ... but here goes ...
Latest 3.1.1 release, standard install, followed all instructions (I think). Authentication works! But user search does not. Cannot find even myself (logged in user) by name or by email. Fullname shows up in profile (and in other obvious places) but email does not show up in profile. Cannot find users in "sharing" tab, nor groups. In ZMI, things work well. One thing I noticed that is not addressed in the PloneLDAP install instructions, is that LDAPUserFolder shows up in plone Site Setup::Add/Remove Produces, as a product available for install. Docs do not say whether to "install" this or not. If I do, it seems to frag the whole site ... and to recover I have to delete and re-add my plone instance from ZMI. Is PloneLDAP working with 3.1.1?
