Stop the Zope service (services.exe I think?) and stop Plone in the controller,
then start the instance in the foreground via the Command Prompt:

$ cd Program\ Files\Plone
$ bin\instance.exe fg

At this point, Plone should either run in the foreground (presumably on 
localhost:8080)
or die with some error that you can paste in here, as needed.
