The Doors soundtrack sparked my interest in music; Nirvana's Nevermind made me realise that there is good music in the 90's, and that you don't have to live in the past; The Pixies' Doolittle turned me away from SA radio & started my long lasting affair with indiedom and the sounds of the underground

Seeing someone stagedive off a 7 foot stage during SA folk artists Koos
Kombuis' set at the Oppikoppi music festival in 97. No one deemed it nessecary to catch the diver either.... ouch
