Hello,

I would like use sflphone - especially why it supports call recording.

The problem is with audio settings.

To meaningful use IP telephony on my PC i had buy second sound card.

1. card is for speakers - system sounds, video, ... AND for VoIP RINGING
2. card is attached to headset (mic & headphones) for VoIP spaking

The problem is, that sflphone does not let me specify sound card for
ringing (as linphone, twinkle, .. does).

Would someone add this feature please ?

-----

Another problem/bug is, that if ALSA is selected as "Sound Manager" -
the sound card selection has no effect - even if I select the sound
card connected to headset (the 2. card), the sound goes in/out via the
1. card.

-----

And third problem:

When using PulseAudio - the pulse audio server do not (even if it should
?!) remember, which audio card I would use with sflphone.

I have to after start of sflphone make call, start pavucontrol and select
2. card for audio in/out every time again.

Also - I thing, that Pulse Audio is not very usable for VoIP at all -
especially for 2 card usage.

The best way (I thing) is to use 2 cards, the 2. card disabled in PulseAudio
and:

1. card (via PulsAudio and alsaplugin default card) to use for system
and VoIP ringing
2. card use via direct ALSA for VoIP in/out audio

This configuration I use successfully in Twinklephone, BUT twinkle does
NOT support call recording.

So ... please ... could You correct and improve Audio settins in SFLPHONE
?

Thanks and sorry please my English
