I have to update my post:
if using ALSA (as sound manager) with:
a/ ALSA plugin: default, then the card selection has no effect as I
wrote - and sflphone use pulseaudio ! (probably via ALSA plugin on ALSA
default card (which is "pcm.!default { type pulse }"))
b/ ALSA plugin: plug:dmix, then all is silent.
Note: 2. card (for VoIP) is disabled in PulseAudio, so there should bee
no no problem opening this audio device.
Interesting is, that in this case no RTP packets send out and these coming
in are not played.
! This is not NAT/STUN/... problem - the OUT packets (from MIC) are not
generated by sflphone at all.
I'm not sure now for 100%, but this "silence" problem sometimes has occur
also with PulseAudio.
Note: On the other hand, sometimes (rare) work my 2. card with ad b/
case. :-/ Why - I don't know ...
Is there a possibility of logging to see, what's going on ?
