Hi again,

I am glad you managed to install it correctly. Your ld problem is very strange,
what is your distribution? Nobody ever reported problem with that before and I
can't reproduce it. Also, for he startTimer warning, it should work anyway.
Many KDE application that need DBUS before the GUI have it, like most versions
of Amarok. It is also wrong, I have no threads in the first place.

For sflphone-client-kde to work, you have to have sflphone-daemon installed
first. It is a runtime dependency. A message should print when it is not
installed, but in some senarios, it close too fast for you to see it. Once
sflphone-daemon is installed, everything should work. Please note that it need
to be installed in /usr or started manually. Installing the daemon in /usr will
prevent sflphone-client-kde from finding it, so you will have to run
/usr/local/lib/sflphone/sflphoned manually.

I hope it work for you, thanks for installing SFLPhone!

Subject: [SFLphone] more problems

I am sure I am missing something basic here, but I have a blind spot at the
moment.

$ /usr/local/bin/sflphone-client-kde
/usr/local/bin/sflphone-client-kde: error while loading shared libraries:
libksflphone.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

$ ldd /usr/local/bin/sflphone-client-kde | grep found
libksflphone.so.4 => not found
libqtsflphone.so.4 => not found

Never mind that. Running ldconfig solved that (although I am curious as to why
I needed to run it when I usually don't when installing new software).

Anyway, I now have a problem I have no idea about (since I don't understand the
internals of KDE that well):

$ /usr/local/bin/sflphone-client-kde
QObject::startTimer: QTimer can only be used with threads started with QThread

Do I need to completely restart KDE or something?

Thanks again.

Nuzhna
