It has been reported 4 time in the last 5 days, you are not alone ;). It is a recent regression in Akonadi. The stable release process take 2 weeks (1 week + one friday), so it will be in next week. It only affect users who have certain types of Akonadi collections, not everybody. This is why running as root work (root have no contacts, so you don't hit the problem).

After adding the aformentioned ppa, the package list is automatically updated, at least I see a lot of activity with bars right after adding it. However, if I type in SFLPhone no packages are found, not even the old ones. So I closed Muon and restarted and all of a sudden both packages (sfl-phone and SFL_Phone-Client) were there. So that is obviously a Muon bug, sorry for that. So I deinstalled the old packages, installed the new ones. Then I ran the sflphone-client-kde overnight build without installing the .deb package which you linked to me. SFLPhone froze again, so I killed the program and the sflphone-daemon. Then I installed the .deb package and now it ACTUALLY WORKS! So please include this patch in your next stable release! I am surprised that there are so few people who seem to be having this issue... or am I one of only a few who use the KDE client? :) Bye! John. _______________________________________________ SFLphone mailing list [email protected] http://lists.savoirfairelinux.net/mailman/listinfo/sflphone
