I have a question about the copyright file, also. I've tended to use the COPYING file from the source distro in its entirety here. This might be a full copy of the GPL (approx 340 lines).
Should I instead be using a shortened summary like you have here? Also, shouldn't you be prepending the new legal text here? - Dermot
