Below are my comments.
1) Proftpd 1.3.2 is freshly out. It would be good integrate latest
version instead of two years old 1.3.1. It should require fast track,
because it adds new features. You could compile it with mysql and
postgresql module support.
2) You are sun employee. Please remove followings lines:

3) Please remove:
@find . -name core -exec rm -f {} \;
It is artifact.
4) I don't see any SMF/inet.d integration.
5) proftp packages clashes with ftp packages. For example ftpwho is in
both packages which is not allowed. You should remove old wu-ftpd from
ON gate and add proftpd into SFW.
