I'm sorry, but it cannot. I have iterated every one of
the 6 methods, but none fixed my problem.

I've set the DEBUG flag in unix.exp script, but the
connection detail windows disapears after aproximately
1 sec. So I havnt had the chance to see, neither copy
anything. Is there a flag somewhere to leave it open
in any condition? All process logfiles xpeXXXX.log and
xpeXXXX_error.log in $TARATELLA/var/log are empty.

Hm, I dont know how to check this. In desktop mode it
is running on every client I know. As mentioned aboved
there is no log reachable.

We are using Mathamatica 5.2, released in 2005. It's
running on various platforms in native mode or via X11
protocol. I hav'nt seen any problems before, while
using 24-, 16- or 8-bit environments. Testing every
possible setting of "color depth" did not fix the
problem in anyway.

That's the way we are using it almost since 10 years.
