Hi Curtis, I've tried the following command: tarantella config edit --server-dns-external '*:IP Address' , then restarted tarantella But unfortunately, it didn't work. I was told that SSGD can't be accessed by IP, it should be an URL. Is this true?
Best regards, Ayman Salem -----Original Message----- You'll need to assign different external DNS names (--server-dns-external in SGD speak), one for your internal IP and one for external IP.

See these docs for more info:

http://doc s.sun.com/source/820-1088/peer_external.html
http://docs.su n.com/source/820-1088/am_server.html

The reason these need to be resolvable is that the server will direct the clients to make AIP connections back to an SGD server (you could have a whole array of 10 for example), and the clients must be able to reach that name.

Hope this helps..
Curtis.
Desktop Technical Specialist Sun Microsystems accessline: (310) 464-6289 internal: 41621 ****************************************************************************** The content of this document is classified as Vodafone Egypt S.A.E.
